藍染め製品の性質上、最初の数回は色落ちすることがありますので、洗濯は単独の水洗いまたはお湯洗いをおすすめします。その後は、中性洗剤を使用して洗濯してください。

洗濯機で他のものと一緒に洗う場合は、洗濯ネットに入れて中性洗剤を使って洗ってください。濡れている状態では色移りの心配がありますのでご注意を。陰干しをし、直射日光に長時間さらさないようにしてください。

長時間光に当たると、灰汁が浮き上がり黄ばんでくることがあります。その際は、70度程のお湯に小一時間漬け込むことで、灰汁が抜けて藍の色が鮮やかになります。時間をかけて少しずつ色落ちし、変化していく藍染めの独特の風合いをお楽しみください。

Follow care instructions for long-lasting enjoyment of your indigo tenugui.

For the first few washes, hand wash without detergent in cool or hot water.
Then wash with neutral detergent as necessary.

If you decide to machine wash with other items, please use a washing net. Be cautious of color transfer when wet.

Dry in the shade and away from direct sunlight. Store or keep it in a dark place, away from prolonged light exposure.

In case of discoloration due to light, soak it in hot water (70°C) for about one hour. The dye will bleed and the blue will be even more vibrant.
