藍染め製品は、その性質上、特に初めの数回は色落ちすることがありますので、洗濯は単独で水洗いまたはお湯洗いをおすすめします。その後は、中性洗剤を使用して洗濯してください。

他の物と一緒に洗濯する場合は、洗濯ネットに入れて中性洗剤を使って洗ってください。濡れている状態では色移りの可能性がありますので、ご注意を。陰干しをし、直射日光に長時間さらさないようにしてください。

長時間光に当たると、灰汁が浮き上がり黄ばんでくることがあります。そんな時は、70度程のお湯に小一時間漬け込むことで、灰汁が抜け、藍の色がさらに鮮やかになります。時間の経過とともに変化していく藍染めの独特な風合いをぜひお楽しみください。

Follow these instructions for long lasting enjoyment of the indigo color.

For the first few times, hand wash without detergent, in cool or hot water.

Then wash with a neutral detergent as needed.

If you want to machine wash together with other items, first place it inside a washing net bag.

Be aware, there may be color transfer when wet.

Dry in the shade, away from direct sunlight.

Store or keep in a dark place not exposed to sunlight or fluorescent light.

When light exposure is prolonged, the dye may fade and the color may become yellowish. In that case, simply soak in hot water (70°C) for about one hour. The dye will bleed and the blue will look even better.
